Bio

Christoph Kehle joined the Mathematics Department in July 2024. Prior to this, he was a Junior Fellow at ETH Zürich and a member at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He earned his PhD in 2020 from the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Mihalis Dafermos.
Kehle's research interests lie at the intersection of analysis, geometry, and partial differential equations, with a particular focus on the Einstein field equations of general relativity. He has worked on the Strong Cosmic Censorship conjecture, singularities in black hole interiors, and the dynamics of extremal black holes.
