Bio

Leonid Rybnikov joined the MIT mathematics faculty as Visiting Simons Associate Professor in 2023. He received his Ph.D. from Moscow University in 2006, under the direction of Ernest B. Vinberg. In 2007, he was awarded a Prize of the Moscow Mathematical Society. Subsequently, he was appointed a member of the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton in 2007-2008 academic year. In 2009 he joined the faculty of Mathematics at HSE University, Moscow. Leonid Rybnikov concentrates on problems in applications of Representation Theory to Quantum Integrable Systems and Combinatorics.
