This is the main webpage for both 18.100B and 18.100C for Spring 2007
but not for 18.100A. This semester the two sections of 18.100B and one of 18.100C
will be taught in close parallel with common homework, tests and final
examination (with 18.100C involving additional material to meet part of the
communication requirement).
18.100A Taught this semester by Mark Behrens is a
somewhat less demanding course, still giving a rigorous introduction to
analysis but not including general metric spaces. If you are going to switch
from 18.100B to 18.100A you should do it as early as possible since there is no
coordination between these courses and different texts are used.
18.100B is the main introductory rigorous analysis course. There are two
sections.
18.100C is the same course as 18.100B but meeting for an additional
hour each week for further instruction and practice in material related to the
communications requirement.
You may treat the Tuesday and Thursday lectures of 18.100C as an additional
section of 18.100B.
