18.075 - Advanced Calculus

Exams

There will be two in-class exams, on on Friday March 3/19/2010 and one on Wednesday 5/12/2010, from 2pm to 3pm in the usual room. There will be no final exam.

Content

As the course is divided into two parts (complex functions and differential equations), each exam only deals with one part. You should expect about 20% of theory and 80% of problems. For the theory, I will clearly state in lecture what theorems/demonstrations have to be known by heart (it won't be that much). For the problem part, the best way to practice is to solve the problems that are proposed at the end of each lecture.

Rules

Notes and calculators are NOT allowed. Only bring a pen. Scratch paper will be provided.

Grading

Each exam represents 30% of the final grade.
