Laboratory Subjects

One of the General Institute Requirements is an Institute Laboratory subject.

• 18.821 (Project Laboratory in Mathematics) The prerequisites for this course are met by any two Course 18 subjects with positive first digit. In it teams of students work on open-ended research projects, write reports, and give talks on their findings. This is a limited enrollment subject, with preference given to Mathematics majors who need credit for an Institute Laboratory subject. It also carries CI-M credit.
