Welcome to the webpage for MIT’s Undergraduate Society of Women in Mathematics (USWIM)! USWIM is a club for women and nonbinary students interested in math. You do not have to be a math major to be a part of USWIM! We host career-oriented events, outreach events, and social events! We are running a mentorship program that pairs first-years/sophomores with juniors/seniors based on interests and potential career goals.
Goals
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and friendly community within the math department at MIT
- Make USWIM members aware of the resources and opportunities available to them
How to join
USWIM welcomes female-identifying and nonbinary students interested in math to join. Being a math major is not necessary! If you’re interested in joining, email us at uswim-pres@mit.edu!
