Yvonne Alama Bronsard

Yvonne is an Instructor in Mathematics and an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow working at the interface of computational mathematics and the analysis of partial differential equations. She earned her PhD from Sorbonne University in Paris, following undergraduate studies at McGill University and l’Université de Montréal in Canada. She is the recipient of the 2025 Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Dissertation Prize and the SMAI-GAMNI PhD Award, to reward the best PhD thesis defended in France in 2024 in applied mathematics.
