Evelyne Ringoot
Graduate Student

Evelyne is a PhD candidate in Mathematics and Computational Science, working on High-Performance Computing (HPC) implementations for large-scale numerical linear algebra with professor Alan Edelman. She holds a MSc Civil Engineering with great distinction from the VUB/ULB Brussels and is a ‘22 Hoover fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation. Her research aims to abstract the hardware aspects of numerical linear algebra in a user-friendly unified generic interface to democratize High-Performance Computing resources, with a focus on large-scale GPU-accelerated matrix decomposition algorithms.
