About MIT Friends of the Arts

We are a student-run group that organizes subsidized outings to arts events in the Boston area. Sometimes we also offer pre-event dinners.

Friends of the Arts was continuously run from 2011-2020 by graduate students in the math department, and has been resurrected in 2023. For the previous edition of the website, see here.

Friends of the Arts is generously funded through a Quality of Life Grant from the MIT School of Science, with matching support from the MIT Department of Mathematics.

Anyone is invited to our outings, but only students and postdocs are currently eligible for free tickets. To receive announcements about our events, join the mailing list.
