Photos
Here are some photos taken after I obtained a digital camera in
2002. A few are scanned photos from earlier.
First, some of my favorites.
- Sunset over the Golden Gate
Bridge, taken from MSRI on November 14, 2002.
- Bungee jump from Sky Tower,
Auckland, New Zealand, on January 15, 2003. Though the operators of
Sky Tower call this a "bungee jump," the jumper is actually guided
down. You can see the guide wires at the left, top, and right edges
of the window.
- Geese,
fountain, and azaleas, KAIST, Daejon, Korea (April,
2008).
- Mother feeding a baby, Shark
Valley, Everglades National Park, 26 February 2014. The birds are
anhingas. Note orange caterpillar to the right of the
anhingas.
- A
sunset
and a
sunrise (note also the crescent moon) taken from my balcony
window in Coral Gables. The view
is facing east. The Miami skyline is in the
background. How could this be?

February 2023
