Chapter 7: Curve Sketching

Introduction

If we can compute the signs,zeroes and singularities of f, f' and f'', we can usually make a reasonable sketch of f(x).

We can,of course, plot it if we have the time.

A plotter, if available, provides the quickest way to see what a function looks like.
