ABSTRACT

I will discuss some interesting integer sequences that have arisen in the contexts of coding theory, lattices, number theory and combinatorics.

I will also talk about the On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences which currently receives over 12,000 hits per day. Judging by the amount of email it stimulates, the data-base continues to fulfil the purpose for which it was designed, helping people identify sequences (it has been called an "on-line fingerprint service" for mathematics).
