About Me

I am a Lecturer and Researcher in the MIT Mathematics Department, where I have been for the past five years-first as an Instructor and later as an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow. Before joining MIT, I was an Exchange Graduate Scholar at Harvard University and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Florida.

I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from UC Berkeley in 2019 (under the supervision of Prof. Lauren Williams). My primary research interests lie in commutative semigroups/algebra, but I am also interested in combinatorics and number theory.

I currently serve on the editorial board of Communications in Algebra and Journal of Commutative Algebra.

MIT PRIMES - I am the Sophomore Research Coordinator of PRIMES, a program dedicated to introducing highly motivated high school students to research in mathematics, computer science, and computational biology. I have been a research mentor for PRIMES since 2021.

CrowdMath - I am the lead mentor of CrowdMath, an online collaborative research initiative jointly hosted by the MIT Mathematics Department and the Art of Problem Solving (AoPS). The program offers a year-long, open, and free research experience for young mathematics enthusiasts around the world.

SWIM (Summer Workshop for Intrepid Mathematicians) - I am one of the organizers of SWIM, a summer workshop held each August that provides young researchers the opportunity not only to present their research findings but also to develop effective communication and presentation skills.
