Arboreal objects and operads
Abstract:
I will introduce a tree-based generalization of the notion of simplicial
object. We'll have "arboreal simplexes" (arborexes ?) and "arboreal
realization" and we'll construct spectral sequences (yes, I'm giving in to
the dark side). We'll see how this is a natural setting to study operads and
modules over them and, if there's time, give examples related to the
Goodwillie calculus of functors.
