Baby Bockstein Spectral Sequences and the Higher Real K-theories
Abstract:
In this talk, I will show how to compute the Adams Spectral Sequence E_2
term computing the p-local homotopy of the "spectrum" eo_n where
n=p-1. The Bockstein spectral sequence computations will be sketched
fairly fully for the case p=5, and the necessary changes required to
make statements true will also be addressed. Finally, time permitting, we
will discuss how much of the game can be played in reverse to give
multiplicative generators on the 0-line without any real knowledge of the
bar complex.
