The Legacy of Daniel Quillen:
K-theory and Homotopical Algebra

A three-day international mathematics conference centering on the spectacularly broad and deep legacy of Daniel Quillen, a former member of the faculty at MIT who passed away in the spring of 2011. Quillen founded or profoundly influenced half a dozen current major areas of contemporary mathematics — algebraic K-theory and cyclic homology, rational homotopy theory, chromatic homotopy theory, abstract homotopy theory, group cohomology and modular representation theory.

In order to collect expressions of sympathy, anecdotes and other memories of Jean-Louis Loday for a "livret de témoignages" for his family, an email address, lettreajll@math.unistra.fr has been created to which you can send your tributes.
