Anya Katsevich

Bio

Anya Katsevich completed her PhD in mathematics in 2022 at the Courant Institute in New York University, advised by Jonathan Weare and Afonso Bandeira. She is interested in the theory and application of stochastic analysis to diverse problems such as the large scale behavior of interacting particle systems and the development of new sampling and optimization algorithms. She is also interested in problems in statistical estimation and machine learning.
