MIT Friends of the Arts events

The student-run group MIT Friends of the Arts organizes subsidized outings to arts events (and sometimes, pre-event dinners) in the Boston area.  

Friends of the Arts was continuously run from 2011-2020 by graduate students in the math department, and was resurrected in 2023.  It is generously funded through a Quality of Life Grant from the MIT School of Science, with matching support from the MIT Department of Mathematics.

Anyone is invited to the outings, but only students and postdocs are currently eligible for free tickets, available by lottery. (Others can fill out the form to indicate interest and to be contacted on how to join in.)
