Java applets for drawing fractals.

I wrote the first of these applets as a part of my summer work on perturbed quadratic maps. The others were later developed by me at the request of Professor Robert Devaney, who is the head of the Dynamical Systems group at Boston University. I acknowledge the funding of my project by the Boston University Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), and by Professor Devaney, who allocated a part of his NSF grant to my work (grant number DUE-0205779). I also wish to express my gratitude to Professor Kresimir Josic, who was the immediate supervisor of my two summer projects at BU. His support was crucial for my work.

So, here are the applets. They all work basically the same way, the only difference is the function being iterated. See below for a more detailed description of how the applets work.

The perturbed quadratic maps: z to z^2+(E/z)
The perturbed linear maps: z to Az+(B/z)
The perturbed polynomial maps: z to z^n+(E/z^m)
The complex sine maps: z to C sin(z)
The complex cosine maps: z to C cos(z)
The complex exponential maps: z to C exp(z)
