Photos from Knuth80, a conference celebrating Donald Knuth's 80th birthday (January 10), at Piteå, Sweden (one degree south of the Arctic Circle). In addition to many stellar speakers, the conference featured the world premiere of Knuth's multimedia piece Fantasia Apocalyptica for pipe organ (performed by Jan Overduin) and three video tracks, based on the Book of Revelation.
