I plan to hand out homework every Thursday on which there is a lecture, to be due the next lecture (usually the next Tuesday of course).

3. Problem set 3, Due October 17 in class. Note that there were at least three typos in an earlier version of the problems -- one was particularly nasty. I hope they are fixed now.
