Root numbers of elliptic curves over 2-adic fields
Abstract:
We give formulas for the root number of an elliptic curve with potential
good reduction over a local field of characteristic zero and residual characteristic two. By work
of Rohrlich and Kobayashi one has explicit formulas for the root number of an elliptic curve over a
local field of characteristic zero in all other cases.
