COURSE DESCRIPTION

Applications of algebra to combinatorics. Topics include walks in graphs, the Radon transform, groups acting on posets, Young tableaux, electrical networks.

Prerequisites: 18.701 or 18.703; or permission of instructor

The problem sets are due on the following dates: 02/19/2016, 03/11/2016, 04/01/2016, 04/22/2016 and 05/09/2016. The first four dates are Fridays, the last one is a Monday!
