I'm a fifth-year grad student working to design and study algorithms to analyze very noisy data. I'm especially motivated by the structural biology setting of cryo-electron microscopy. I also sound out the limits of what can possibly be inferred from such data, surprisingly relating to the idea of phase transitions in statistical physics. Outside of math, I love playing guitar, bass, and viola, enjoying the outdoors, and engaging in activism and breaking stigmas around trans issues, polyamory, and mental health.
