Nick Trefethen, SIAM President and Professor of Numerical Analysis at Oxford University, will be visiting MIT on Thursday December 8th, 2011. He will be giving a talk/workshop titled Computing with Chebfun where audience will learn about the applications of Chebyshev polynomials through hands-on demonstration using MATLAB. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops!
