I am going on vacation and/or will be away from my e-mail for a few days or longer and would like to have people notified of this when they sent my e-mail. Is there a program for this?

1. Type vacation
2. Edit the vacation message to your liking and save the file and exit your editor
3. When someone sends you an e-mail, a copy is saved in your mailbox and the above message sent back to the originator.
4. When you return to your e-mail and would like to turn off the vacation program, remove the .forward file from your home directory
