Condensed Matter Physics research in the Mathematics Department extends into chemical physics, materials science, and statistical physics. Both continuum and atomistic theoretical models are studied. Current research topics include granular flow, fractal aggregation, surface growth, percolation, reaction-diffusion, and electrochemical transport.
